Torso’s retirement is interrupted by a galactic assassin known to the butcher god Gorina who tries to destroy the gods. To survive the danger, Thor seeks help from King Valkyrie, Cork, and his ex-girlfriend Jane Foster, who – to Thor’s surprise – treats his magic wand Mjolnir inexplicably as Mighty Thor.
